As a child he was my hero i stayed home and watched his hour long special on vh1 every weekend while the other kids were playing. musically he was definitely my favorite single artist.. for the past 3 months ive been into him again i bought his cd's and have been listening to alot of his music... i recently laid down the guitar riff to beat it for newman productions about a month ago... im very very saddened by this and by people who say there glad hes dead... that is completely unacceptable and ignorant.
